GROCERY CLUB CARDS ARE A SCAM.

If you think you are "saving" money with a Ralph's or Vons/Safeway card, think again . Kiplinger does a pretty good job of lambasting these merchants.

I shop at places like Stater Bros or Albertson's who do not have these bogus club promotions. Club card stores jack up the prices and then mark them back down for people who are gullible enough to put themselves on junk mail and telemarketer lists.

NOTE TO VONS, I'm flattered that you want me on your junk mail list, but no thanks.
